Latest from Ardenza Hello everybody! Can’t believe we are near the end of November already! Christmas is just around the corner and in Ardenza we couldn’t be happier! Here is what we are up to this week. In the baby room Suzanne and Laura are teaching the babies the rhyme Humpty Dumpty. In circle time the girls will look through nursery rhyme books with the babies and sing Humpty Dumpty, pointing out things in the pictures like his shoes, the wall and the colour of humpty. In the baby room Suzanne and Rachel are doing the letter B so circle time will consist of b sounds and pronunciations. The girls will fill a basket full of toys beginning with b and exaggerate the letter when naming them. The girls will sing baa baa black sheep and look at stories with sheep in it and say baa sounds. In circle time the girls will sing the rhyme and do the actions, encouraging the babies to move their hands and arms. They will look at pictures of stars and listen to the song on the radio through out the day. for a bit of quiet time the girls will turn off the lights, have cosy blankets and listen to the song.
